Bar Mutz is a hip mozzarella and cocktail bar built on Chef Robbie Felice’s drive to flip tradition on its head. Right around the corner from Osteria Crescendo, Bar Mutz brings a new kind of energy to downtown Westwood, playful, bold, and unapologetically fun.

We call it a love letter to mozzarella, fresh, creamy, made daily in front of you. Pair it with Italian small plates, add cocktails with attitude, and you’ve got the Bar Mutz experience. Think trattoria meets nightclub, mozzarella bar meets late-night hangout.

Robbie Felice has built his career breaking the rules of Italian dining. Trained in Michelin-starred kitchens across Europe and New York, he returned to New Jersey to open Viaggio and Osteria Crescendo, quickly landing on NJ Monthly’s 30 Best Restaurants. His pastaRAMEN concept in Montclair earned national buzz for its Japanese-Italian mashup. With Bar Mutz, Felice goes back to his roots and makes mozzarella the star of the show.
